Pleasant Hope is committed to helping children live the life that God desires for all mankind by assisting with spiritual, economic, and physical poverty.
Pleasant Hope Academy is a Christian co-ed K-8 private school located in Kikuyu, Kenya on a 1.5 acre campus. We believe each child should be given the opportunity to learn and apply themselves to the best of their ability without regard of their financial situation. Our vision is to produce educated and skilled students to live productive lives; equipped with a biblical foundation and the ability to impact the world for Christ.

At our core, Pleasant Hope is a ministry and we want to support Kenyan children both physically and spiritually. Our homes and schools are Bible-centered, giving children a chance to learn about the love and hope found in Jesus Christ.

OUR PROGRAM
Our Homes are secure and safe places to offer full-time care for vulnerable children. We become their guardians, providing parenting, nutrition, and education on an ongoing basis.
Our school provides children in vulnerable communities with a quality education. They give students the opportunity for a better life and many graduates go on to attend trade schools or international universities.
We provide our students with the most nutrient and filling meals we can afford. For many of the children we serve, these meals are their only daily source of substantial nutrition.

How to get Involved
We are thrilled to have you interested in our ministry and there are various ways to contribute! Whether you have a small amount of money to donate, wish to sponsor an orphan, or are interested in joining a mission trip, your involvement is highly valued. Any amount you can contribute is a blessing that will be utilized thoughtfully.
The continuity of our mission for the young children in our school largely depends on the camaraderie and collaboration among the various programs we have in place, which cater to children, young adults, and educators in Africa.
