Earthlight Solar Fundraiser
Earthlight, a solar and technology company based in Ellington, CT, is supporting a transformative solar project for PHA. The school currently relies on an outdated system that fails to meet its energy needs. The goal of this project is to make the school entirely off-grid, ensuring energy independence.
A new three-story building, constructed for dormitories and classrooms, is among the facilities that will benefit from this new system. The project includes the installation of a 20 kW system which includes lithium batteries for energy storage, ensuring a reliable power supply. Additionally, a separate thermal solar system will be installed to provide hot water.
All materials and labor for the project are being sourced locally in Kenya, and the engineering will be managed by a local Kenyan firm, reinforcing community involvement and sustainability.
For every dollar donated, Earthlight will match the contribution until we reach our goal of $30,000 USD. Your support will directly empower PHA to achieve energy independence and improve the learning environment for its students.!
